Your safety and the safety of others in coming to classes is our first priority.
We would hope therefore that everyone follows the guidelines below.
You must enrol before you join a class (you can do this online or by post)
Do not come to class if you have or suspect you have Covid 19 symtoms.
You must wear a mask in the building. If you are exempt from wearing a mask please either download the app to your phone or print the card/exemption form from:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own (note: rules oh face coverings may vary from centre to centre)
Please arrive five minutes before the class starts use the sanitiser at the door and then go directly to the classroom – if you are too early you must wait outside the building and social distance.
There will be an extra sanitiser in the classroom and extra masks if you forget your own.
You will be allocated a seat at a desk, these have been ‘socially distanced’ so please do not move chairs or desks to other places in the room or sit in anyone else’s chair. Please do not wander around the room.
Only bring what you need for the class. Coats can be hung on the back of chairs and bags stored under tables.
Only one person at a time should use the toilet.
The register will be used as a record for test and trace if needed – please ensure that you are included when the tutor calls your name at each class you attend.
There will be no refreshments available in the building. You are advised to bring a bottle of water or thermos flask and take away with you when you leave.
Do not share equipment, teaching materials or drinks with other students. There will be a system in place for distributing printouts and other resources in sanitised bags.
The class will finish promptly at the designated time and you may be asked to wipe your desk top with a sanitised wipe. Please leave the building promptly and please be aware of local restrictions in place regarding socialising inside or outside buildings. Take any belongings and your own waste with you.
