This course covers the basic aspects of the French language and culture within familiar contexts, for example, food and drink in France, shopping and travel. Classes are lively and fun with a focus on speaking and listening with interaction between group members. We use the ‘BBC Talk French Book 1’. By the end of the course you will have acquired sufficient ‘survival’ language to get by on a visit to France. This course starts at Absolute Beginners level in October.
PLEASE NOTE: IN TERM 2 AND 3 THIS COURSE IS A CONTINUATION FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLETED ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS IN TERM 1 OR WHO HAVE A LITTLE PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF FRENCH.
